Full artwork measures 90 cm x 120 cm — 2017
Due to heavy weather we were forced to stay indoors during our last journey through Thailand. When the rain stopped for a moment I got ready to photograph outside. It seemed as if all insects came out of hiding together to absorb the sunlight. The atmosphere was charged with something. For a moment, there was an abundance of life and energy in the air.
About Jesper Krijgsman
Jesper Krijgsman is a Swiss-based visual artist from the Netherlands. After some years in graphic design, his passion and fascination for visual storytelling culminated in creating his own personal work with nature as its subject. Photographing, editing, and especially learning about the subjects he photographs provides a hands-on experience that strengthens his connection to the natural world. Jesper's detailed supernatural photographic landscapes depict scenes in which the mystical qualities of the natural world are magnified.
